Deep Down's Engine Order Telegraph (EOT) is a custom designed system to communicate the many demands with respect to engine orders and acknowledgments throughout the vessel. Today's military ships, offshore service vessels, and cruise ships require visual communication from the pilothouse to the engine room to command central areas and even thruster rooms or shaft alleys. Through the use of the lighted keypad and audible alarms, personnel can determine which station is in control, request a change of station, and acknowledge to all stations the status and request confirmation.
Our experience with the EOT includes installation on the U.S. Navy's new Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). The Deep Down EOT was designed and built according to the U.S. Naval requirements and is in the U.S. Navy's catalog as a standard item and is commercially available to other classes of ships.
